Clover is a Windows application that allows users to open several folders within the same window. Due to the design of the Windows' folder finder, users are forced to open several different tabs of folders at the same time simply to multitask. Clover seeks to solve this frustrating design failure.

This lightweight utility application enables multiple folders to be displayed similarly to how a browser creates separate tabs for different web pages. All in all, Clover is designed to make multitasking easier for both individuals and companies concerned about user workflow.

Additionally, users are able to save, favorite, and prioritize different folders. Clover can be used to create shortcuts for frequently accessed folders and files, allowing users to both save and organize effectively.

Using Clover, it's possible to toggle accidentally closed files and folders through a built-in folder context menu. This removes the problem of re-navigating to Windows' clunky folder finder or home button search bar.

Since Clover isn't a stand-alone app, users aren't required to open an external application in order to apply these changes to their folder finder. In fact, the service is fully integrated with the Windows graphical folder interface.

Depending on user preference, Clover also allows for bookmarks to be imported through HTML files and scripts. This makes the app highly extensible for those with a technical background, since its functionality can be ported between different devices.

Although it isn't as extensible as fully-fledged file managers and doesn't support command line operations, Clover is still considered convenient by many. Ultimately, the application allows users to work more efficiently by creating folder tabs, a back button, and shortcuts between frequently used files.

For files and folders, Clover mimics the virtualized environment provided through browser pages.

Users should keep in mind that Clover doesn't have full support for all Windows devices, iterations, and updates. The application is designed primarily for Windows XP, which may cause issues when paired with a newer operating system.

Additionally, some users complain that their bookmarks or shortcut folder links accidentally get deleted from time to time.
